Frank Hursh is great! I love this book, illustrated in a perfect fractured fairy style. Thanks.

The art looks like an old Jay Ward "Fractured Fairy Tale"! Was Frank Hursh a Jay Ward or other animation veteran? I enjoyed the amusing illustrations..

I could just hear Edward Everett Horton's droll voice:
"Once upon a time there was a man named Lazy Jack"..
